Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen's Wedding Celebration in California
Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen tied the knot in a beautiful Southern California ceremony on Saturday, May 31.
The 28-year-old singer and actress and the 29-year-old NFL star were seen walking down the aisle during the oceanside celebration, though neither had posted any photos of the event on social media at the time of reporting.
Their engagement became public in November 2024, when the couple shared a romantic Instagram post. The image captured Allen down on one knee, proposing to Steinfeld on a grassy bluff overlooking the water. The scene was framed by a floral arch and surrounded by flickering candles, adding to the intimate, cinematic setting.
The pair were first romantically linked in spring 2023, after they were spotted dining together in New York City. Although Allen later confirmed they were a couple, he asked The Associated Press not to mention Steinfeld by name in an effort to preserve their privacy.
Earlier this year, Steinfeld discussed her engagement during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She spoke fondly of her new life in Buffalo, New York, saying with a smile, “I have been given a very warm welcome.” She praised the city, calling it “a wonderful, wonderful place” and expressing her admiration for its people.
Allen’s team, the Buffalo Bills, had a strong 2024 season, making it to the AFC Championship before being defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs. Throughout the season, Steinfeld proudly supported her now-husband’s team. During a February interview with Who What Wear, she playfully threw shade at the Chiefs when asked to name the four AFC teams, replying, “You got the Buffalo Bills and the Bills’ three sons.”
Despite her obvious allegiance, Steinfeld managed to muster a few compliments for the Chiefs during an appearance on Hot Ones Versus, which aired a day before her Tonight Show interview in early April. Faced with either praising the Chiefs or eating a fiery hot wing, she offered, “Yellow and red really complement them all pretty well.” As her Sinners co-star Michael B. Jordan laughed beside her, she continued, “They are very loud … it’s great, you want that from a fanbase. And third, they go hard for their team.”
